Job summary

Pakistan Single Window is seeking a junior Network Support role in Karachi to assist in monitoring and maintaining our network infrastructure and connectivity. You will help configure and troubleshoot routers and switches under supervision, and you will develop essential network documentation and SOPs for common operations.

Strong basics in networking, IP addressing, and MS Office tools are expected, with opportunities to grow in a collaborative IT team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS / EEE / ECE / IT or related field.
• Basic networking fundamentals and OSI/TCP-IP knowledge.
• Understanding of IP addressing and subnetting.
• Familiarity with routing (static/default) and switching concepts (MAC, VLANs).
• Knowledge of ARP, ICMP, DNS and DHCP; strong documentation skills.

• Basic knowledge of Networking Fundamentals, OSI & TCP/IP models, and IP Addressing & Subnetting.
• Understanding of Routing (Static, Default Routes) and Switching concepts (MAC Table, VLANs, Trunking).
• Familiarity with ARP, ICMP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio/draw.io, MS Excel, and MS Word.
• Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
