Job summary

Arwentech is seeking a Network Engineer (EITM) to design, implement, and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure. You will ensure smooth operation, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance across routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless APs.

The role requires experience with routing protocols, network design, and strong communication skills to work with end users and meet deadlines. CCNA/CCNP and Junos certifications are preferred; Bachelor's in Engineering is required.

Job description

Network Engineer (EITM) is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure within an organization. They ensure the smooth operation of network systems, troubleshoot network issues, and optimize network performance.

• Networking protocols: TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching protocols (VLANs, STP).
• Network devices: Routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless access points.
• Network management tools: Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, ManageEngine.
• Security protocols: VPN, IPSec, SSL/TLS.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA’s) required to successfully perform the job:

• Good understanding and practical experience with routing protocols & switching technologies.
• Advanced knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology.
• Must be able to work with end users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.

Education, Experience, Licensure, and Certification required for the position:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive experience.
• Qualification: Bachelors’ degree in Engineering.
• Specific technical qualification/certification: JNCIA-JUNOS, JNCIS, JNCIP, CCNA,CCNP
