Job summary

The Citizen Foundation seeks an experienced educator to lead the Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education (MLE) and Urdu→English bilingual transition in its Tharparkar secondary schools, guiding policy, design, and implementation.

The Manager will coordinate resources and training, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with TCF departments and government partners to ensure timely rollout and impact across grades.

Qualifications

• Experienced educator with interest in how language affects learning outcomes.
• Ability to lead design, implementation, and evaluation of the MLE program.
• Experience with stakeholder analysis and cross-department collaboration.
• Willingness to engage with government and international language groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of the MLE program at secondary level.
• Oversee rollout plan and budget for Tharparkar schools.
• Build capacity of teachers and stakeholders.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings and scale dialogues.
• Collaborate with departments on curriculum development and assessment.
