Job summary

Game District is seeking a Game Producer with a strong understanding of game design to oversee mobile games from concept to launch. The ideal candidate will combine production management with practical game design knowledge to ensure smooth development, engaging gameplay, and timely delivery.

We are looking for someone who can coordinate cross-functional teams while actively contributing to gameplay mechanics, level design, progression systems, and overall player experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in game production or game design.
• Strong understanding of game design principles, gameplay mechanics, core loops, and progression systems.
• Experience creating or reviewing Game Design Documents (GDDs).
• Familiarity with cross-functional team coordination and production timelines.
• Experience with Unity or similar mobile game engines.
• Knowledge of mobile monetization models and retention strategies.
• Proficiency with Jira, Trello or similar project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end production of mobile games from concept to launch.
• Plan milestones, sprints, deliverables, and timelines.
• Coordinate designers, developers, artists, animators, and QA teams.
• Develop and maintain GDDs detailing mechanics and progression.
• Contribute to gameplay design, level design, and LiveOps considerations.
• Review prototypes and builds to improve gameplay quality.
• Conduct market research to identify mobile gaming trends.
• Monitor progress and manage dependencies for timely delivery.
• Translate design concepts into functional features with dev teams.
• Collaborate with QA to identify issues and ensure quality.
• Communicate updates and milestones to stakeholders.
