Game District is seeking a Game Producer to oversee mobile game development from concept to launch. The role combines production management with hands-on game design oversight to deliver engaging experiences.

You will coordinate designers, developers, artists, and QA to ensure timely delivery, quality gameplay, and effective iteration based on feedback and market trends.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in game production or related roles.
• Strong understanding of game design principles, gameplay mechanics, core loops, and progression systems.
• Experience creating or reviewing Game Design Documents (GDDs).
• Familiarity with Unity or other mobile game engines and workflows.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end production lifecycle of mobile games from ideation to launch.

About the Role

Game District is looking for a Game Producer with a strong understanding of Game Design to oversee the development of mobile games from concept to launch. The ideal candidate will combine production management skills with practical game design knowledge to ensure smooth development, engaging gameplay, and timely delivery.

We are looking for someone who can coordinate cross-functional teams while actively contributing to gameplay mechanics, level design, progression systems, and overall player experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end production lifecycle of mobile games, from ideation and prototyping to launch.

• Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities in mobile gaming.
• Monitor project progress, identify production bottlenecks, and manage dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with development teams to translate game design concepts into functional gameplay features.
• Work with QA teams to identify issues, prioritize bug fixes, and maintain quality standards.
• Understand mobile game monetization, player retention, engagement metrics, and LiveOps.
• Analyze player feedback and game performance to recommend improvements to gameplay and progression.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in game production, game design, or a related role within the gaming industry.
• Strong understanding of game design principles, gameplay mechanics, core loops, and progression systems.
• Experience creating or reviewing Game Design Documents (GDDs).
• Understanding of level design, difficulty balancing, player engagement, and retention.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing production timelines.
• Familiarity with Unity or other mobile game development engines and their workflows.
• Knowledge of mobile game monetization models, including in-app purchases and ad-based monetization.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience taking a mobile game from concept or prototype through launch.
• Understanding of mobile game analytics, A/B testing, and LiveOps.
• Experience analyzing competitor games and identifying gameplay improvement opportunities.
• Ability to balance creative game design requirements with production timelines and business objectives.
