Job summary

Relief International seeks a District MHPSS Officer in Swabi to deliver mobile clinic-based psychological support and home-based visits. You will assess distress, provide counseling, and refer to specialists as needed, while coordinating with wellbeing centers and outreach staff.

The role emphasizes adherence to safeguarding, consent, and confidential documentation, with supervision and clear pathways for escalating risk and ensuring continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
• At least 4 years of relevant psychological or MHPSS service experience.
• Competence in psychological assessment, counselling, structured interventions, risk recognition and safe referral within non-prescribing scope.
• Experience applying consent, confidentiality, safeguarding and accurate case documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan mobile service delivery schedules with the Coordinator and communities.
• Provide Psychological First Aid, individual and group psychosocial support and counselling.
• Identify and refer urgent concerns through clinical supervision and crisis pathways.
• Maintain confidential case records and secure data collection.
• Engage with communities to promote wellbeing and reduce stigma while ensuring safety.
• Coordinate with outreach teams for continuity of care and emergency support.
