Job summary

HRSI, a Karachi-based company, seeks an experienced Middle Management professional for Retail Facilities Coordination (Project Management & Construction). Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management or MBA is an added advantage.
• 6–8 years of Oil & Marketing or EPC contractor experience; 2–6 years in construction or retail fuel infra.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve Purchase Requisitions (PRs) initiated by divisional Engineers (DEs), issue Service Orders for Maintenance & Repair (M&R) works, and initiate PRs as needed to ensure operational readiness.
• Manage the allocated expense budget (Revex) for retail station repairs and replacements, ensuring strict cost control to prevent budget overruns.
• Oversee M&R operations to guarantee complete compliance with contractual terms, internal SOPs, HSE standards, and statutory legal regulations.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to corporate M&R guidelines, ensuring all maintenance work aligns accurately with specific retail outlet categories.
• Provide technical guidance and day-to-day operational instructions to Head Office Engineers and divisional Engineers to streamline troubleshooting and daily workflows.
• Manage the processing and approval of insurance claims to accelerate financial recovery for retail station property damages.
• Oversee timely payments and documentation for Explosive License renewals to maintain uninterrupted, lawful retail operations.
• Execute day-to-day transactions in SAP according to established company workflows and authorization levels.
• Undertake any other task or function as may be assigned by the Management.

Job Role

Manage retail facility maintenance and repair workflows to optimize asset lifecycle and support uninterrupted fuel station operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and day-to-day operational instructions to Head Office Engineers and divisional Engineers to streamline troubleshooting and daily workflows

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education having Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university or institution
• Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or related discipline will be an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 6 - 8 years of professional experience in Oil & Marketing, EPC Contractor companies, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 2 - 6 years of related functional experience in construction or retail fuel infrastructure development/ maintenance.

Key Requirements

• Frequent site visits for supervision of maintenance activities at Retail stations
• Provide technical input for development and execution of the Retail stations maintenance and upgradation works
• Maintain close coordination with Indenting, Retail, HSE, Audit, Support Departments, and Contractors for efficient site execution
• This is a Karachi based position.

Age

• The candidate should preferably be not more than 40 years of age as of the last date of submission of application
