Job summary

ATVE BIM Consulting in Lahore is seeking a diligent MEP BIM Modeler to develop, update, and maintain coordinated BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems in line with EIR, AIR, BEP and ISO 19650.

You will produce BIM production drawings, support clash resolution, manage model QA/QC, and contribute to 3D, 4D, 5D deliverables while collaborating with the BIM Manager and project teams on design, construction, and handover stages.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical/building services or related discipline.
• Professional BIM/Revit certifications are a plus.
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and information management.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site MEP BIM Modeler role based in Lahore.

The MEP BIM Modeler will work closely with the BIM Manager and BIM Coordinator to develop, update, and maintain coordinated BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing/Public Health, Fire Protection, and related building services in alignment with project standards, EIR, AIR, BEP requirements, and agreed BIM workflows.

The role is primarily focused on BIM production, model development, coordination support, documentation, and information quality rather than design responsibility.

Responsibilities include creating and updating MEP BIM models, construction drawings, shop drawings, schedules, and as-built information while ensuring model accuracy, consistency, and information integrity within the Common Data Environment.

The MEP BIM Modeler will respond to coordination issues, clash reports, model review comments, and instructions issued by the BIM Manager or BIM Coordinator while supporting project delivery teams throughout the design, construction, and handover stages.

The role also requires a practical understanding of BIM documentation and information management processes, including BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project information requirements, LOD requirements, naming conventions, model status and revision procedures, CDE workflows, clash management, and ISO 19650-aligned information management principles.

The MEP BIM Modeler will support multidisciplinary coordination and contribute to 3D, 4D, 5D, asset information, and FM-ready deliverables where required, while supporting continuous improvement of modelling workflows and project BIM standards.

Qualifications

• Strong MEP BIM modelling skills with practical experience in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing/Public Health, Fire Protection, and related building-services systems.
• Ability to interpret and work from MEP design drawings, specifications, schematics, technical submittals, markups, and coordination comments.
• Good understanding of multidisciplinary coordination between MEP, Architecture, Structure, and specialist systems.
• Experience using Navisworks Manage or similar platforms for clash detection, model federation, and coordination.
• Experience contributing to LOD 300–500 BIM models, shop drawings, construction drawings, and/or as-built deliverables.
• Ability to work effectively under the direction of the BIM Manager and BIM Coordinator, responding to clash reports, coordination comments, model review comments, and project BIM requirements.
• Basic understanding of BIM documentation and information management, including BEP, LOD requirements, naming conventions, model status/revisions, CDE workflows, coordination procedures, and information exchange requirements.
• Awareness of ISO 19650 principles and model-based workflows for design, construction, handover, and asset information management.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM 360, or other Common Data Environment platforms is an advantage.
• Understanding of model QA/QC, model accuracy, constructability, and information-quality requirements.
• Diploma, DAE, Bachelor’s degree, or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Architecture, Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Professional BIM/Revit certifications will be considered an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
