The position requires expertise in laytime, demurrage, and bunker fuel procurement under IMO sulfur caps, with oversight of ship agency networks and compliance with maritime safety conventions.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial chartering of national fleet vessels.
• Ability to calculate freight rates and Time Charter Equivalent (TCE).
• Experience with post-fixture operations and laytime/demurrage claims.
• Knowledge of bunker fuel procurement under IMO sulfur caps.
• Familiarity with ship agency networks and maritime safety conventions.

Responsibilities

• Charter vessels on voyage and time charters.
• Negotiate standard charterparties (ASBATANKVOY, GENCON, NYPE).
• Compute laytime and demurrage claims.
• Monitor bunker fuel procurements under IMO sulfur caps.
• Supervise ship agency networks and ensure safety compliance.
