Job summary

DWP Group is seeking an experienced Manager Warehousing to oversee warehouse and stores operations at CE Factory Karachi. You will manage CKD kits, finished goods, inventory, and dispatches to ensure accurate stock records and production continuity.

Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting goods, maintaining stock statements, safeguarding warehouse safety, coordinating with production, and ensuring availability of parts across FPS Karachi and FPS Lahore.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field such as Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration.
• Minimum 10+ years of warehousing and stores operations experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management, material handling, stock reconciliation and dispatch operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Excel for inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unloading, storage, handling, and issuance of CKD kits and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monthly stock statements covering receipts, issues, WIP, FG, and closing balances.
• Ensure proper documentation of all material receipts, issues, transfers, and dispatches.
• Coordinate with Production Coordinators to ensure timely kit supply from RMS to production areas.
• Oversee Factory Parts Stores (FPS) Karachi and ensure availability of parts to production, with updated records for FPS Lahore.
• Ensure warehouse safety, housekeeping, inventory controls, and compliance with procedures.
• Identify discrepancies and implement process improvements in warehouse operations.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Manager Warehousing to oversee warehouse and stores operations at CE Factory Karachi. The role will be responsible for managing CKD kits, finished goods, inventory, material handling, dispatches, and parts availability to ensure smooth production operations, accurate stock records, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage safe unloading, storage, handling, and issuance of CKD kits, finished goods, local purchases, and localized products.
• Ensure proper stacking and storage of CKD kits in the RMS warehouse and stores.
• Oversee goods receiving, inspection, documentation, and inventory management for CKD kits, local purchases, and localized materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monthly stock statements covering receipts, issues, work-in-process, finished goods, and closing balances.
• Ensure proper documentation of all material receipts, issues, transfers, and dispatches.
• Manage finished goods dispatches to relevant parties, contractors, and branches.
• Oversee Factory Parts Stores (FPS) Karachi and ensure timely availability of required parts to production departments; maintain updated inventory records for FPS Lahore.
• Ensure adequate manpower and material-handling resources according to production requirements.
• Coordinate with Production Coordinators to ensure timely supply of kits from RMS to production areas.
• Conduct daily physical verification of units against PTNs and report discrepancies to the Factory Manager.
• Manage scrap segregation, dispatch to approved salvage vendors, and maintain proper records.
• Oversee the safe storage and management of welding and refrigerant gas cylinders.
• Ensure warehouse safety, housekeeping, inventory controls, and compliance with company procedures.
• Identify and resolve warehouse and inventory discrepancies and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in warehousing, inventory management, and stores operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management, material handling, stock reconciliation, and dispatch operations.
• Experience managing CKD kits, production stores, and finished goods will be preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management tools, and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety, storage standards, and inventory control procedures.
