Job summary

Creativechaos in Islamabad seeks an experienced Manager for Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning to lead forecasting accuracy and inventory optimization across the supply chain.

You will align Sales, Marketing, and Supply teams to ensure product availability while minimizing obsolescence and excess inventory. 8–10+ years in related roles and deep CPG/FMCG experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10+ years in Demand Forecasting or Inventory Planning.
• Mandatory experience in CPG/FMCG with high SKU complexity.
• Strong hands-on experience with S&OP/IBP processes.
• Proficiency in forecasting tools (SAP APO/IBP, Oracle, Anaplan, Kinaxis).
• Advanced Excel; Power BI/Tableau is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end demand forecasting across multiple product categories and SKUs.
• Develop and improve forecasting models (statistical and judgment-based).
• Drive S&OP/IBP cycles with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Translate demand plans into inventory and replenishment strategies.
• Monitor forecast accuracy (MAPE, Bias) and inventory KPIs (DOH, Fill Rate).
• Manage safety stock to balance service levels and working capital.
• Analyze demand drivers like promotions, seasonality, launches, trends.
• Lead scenario planning and risk mitigation for volatility and constraints.
• Mentor demand/inventory planning team members.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics for execution.
• Prepare executive-level reports for leadership.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manager - Demand Forecasting & Inventory Planning with a strong background in the CPG/FMCG industry to lead demand planning, forecasting accuracy, and inventory optimization across the supply chain. This role is critical in aligning sales, marketing, and supply teams to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end demand forecasting processes across multiple product categories and SKUs
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve statistical and judgment-based forecasting models
• Drive S&OP / IBP cycles by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
• Translate demand plans into actionable inventory and replenishment strategies
• Monitor and improve forecast accuracy (MAPE, Bias) and inventory KPIs (DOH, Fill Rate, Service Level)
• Manage safety stock levels to balance service levels and working capital
• Analyze demand drivers including promotions, seasonality, new product launches, and market trends

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 8-10+ years of experience in Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, or Supply Planning
• Mandatory experience in CPG / FMCG industry with high SKU complexity
• Strong hands-on experience with S&OP / IBP processes
• Proficiency in forecasting and planning tools (SAP APO / IBP, Oracle, Anaplan, Kinaxis, or similar)
