Job summary

Pearmantra Innovations in Islamabad is seeking a Demand Planning & Inventory Management professional to forecast demand and optimise stock across all depots. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to align forecasts with promotions and seasonal trends.

The role requires a BBA (Finance/Supply Chain) and 4–7 years of relevant experience, fluent English, and MS BI proficiency. Onsite work from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. is expected, contributing to efficient inventory operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utilise historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to forecast demand.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to incorporate promotions and seasonal trends into forecasts.
• Produce ad-hoc reports and provide detailed analysis.
• Collaborate with stock managers, category managers, and marketing to inform forecasts and inventory decisions.
• Analyse inventory levels and trends to minimise excess stock and avoid stockouts.
• Monitor forecast accuracy metrics and KPIs across depots and implement corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance demand planning processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mitigate risks from promotions, market fluctuations, and changes in promotional plans.

This position is responsible for ensuring optimal inventorymanagement, forecasting accuracy, collaborating closely with various teamsincluding supply chain, sales, trading and finance to develop and implementdemand forecasting strategies that meet customer demands.

Job Description

• Utilise historical sales data, market trends, and customerinsights to accurately forecast demand.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understandupcoming promotions, seasonal trends, and special events and incorporate thisinformation into demand forecasts identify areas for improvement.
• Possess commercial knowledge to makeadhoc reports and provide detailed analysis.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams, stock managers,category managers, promotional and marketing teams to gather marketintelligence, customer feedback, and sales projections to inform demandforecasts and inventory management decisions.
• Conduct thorough analysis of inventory levels and trendsacross all business units to identify opportunities for optimisation, focusingon minimising excess stock while avoiding stockouts.
• Monitor forecast accuracy metrics and KPIs for demandflowing through all depots, identifying areas of improvement and implementingcorrective actions as needed.
• Identify opportunities to enhance demand planning processes,tools, and methodologies for promotional and seasonal demand forecasting todrive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated withpromotional and seasonal demand forecasting, such as supply chain disruptions,market fluctuations, and unforeseen changes in promotional plans or consumerbehavior.

Experience and Qualification

• BBApreferably in Finance / Supply Chain.
• 04 to07 years of relevant experience.
