Job summary

HBL is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to develop predictive models and ML solutions across customer, product, and operations use cases. You will build dashboards in Power BI/Tableau and translate analytics into actionable business insights for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a data-related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Advanced Analytics, Data Science, Predictive Modelling, ML or BI.
• Proven experience implementing predictive/ML models in real business environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement predictive and machine learning models for customer, product, transaction and operational use cases.
• Identify and implement AI/ML solutions for operational efficiency, anomaly detection, fraud indicators, early-warning and process optimization.
• Perform advanced statistical analysis, segmentation, forecasting, classification, regression and customer behaviour analytics.
• Develop management and executive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau or equivalent BI tools.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Analytics or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Advanced Analytics, Data Science, Predictive Modelling, Machine Learning or BI.
• Proven experience in implementing predictive / ML models in real business environments.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in Python and SQL.
• Strong understanding of Predictive Modelling, Machine Learning and Statistics.
• Experience with Power BI / Tableau and dashboard development.
• Strong understanding of data preparation, feature engineering and data modelling.
• Understanding of Data Warehouse / Data Lake, ETL/ELT and model deployment concepts.
• Exposure to AI / GenAI, MLOps or cloud analytics platforms will be an advantage.
