GlaxoSmithKline plc is seeking an Engineering Technician to perform production equipment maintenance and drive improvement projects in our pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role requires hands-on maintenance across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, with strong focus on safety and data integrity.

You will work closely with Production and Quality teams, ensuring calibration, PM schedules, and CMMS work orders are executed on time.

Formación

• Diploma (DAE) or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related technical field.
• 3–4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, or other control devices.
• Experience using or willingness to learn CMMS.
• Strong commitment to safety, following LOTO and permit‑to‑work procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance activities on production equipment and execute improvement projects.
• Ensure PMs, calibration, and CMMS entries are completed per plan.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems; work with PLCs and HMIs.
• Maintain equipment inventory and coordinate with stores for parts.”
• Supervise contractors and ensure safe working conditions on site.
