Job summary

ACT International in Lahore, Pakistan seeks a Logistics/Inventory Officer to manage stock room activities and ensure adherence to BNP and WFP procedures. You will maintain records, coordinate with programme staff, and support warehouse operations to safeguard programme commodities.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant NGO experience, proficiency in MS Excel/Word, and a commitment to safeguarding and ethical standards including PSEAH.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field from a recognized institution.
  • 1–2 years of relevant NGO/INGO logistics experience preferred.
  • Experience with nutrition commodities or WFP-funded projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage stock room inventory and supply chain activities per BNP and WFP procedures.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, registers, and shelf-life documentation with timely updates.
  • Ensure proper receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of SNF per BNP protocols.
  • Organize stock room for safe handling, ventilation, and space optimization.
  • Monitor storage conditions, temperature control, and equipment functionality.
  • Apply FEFO and Best-Before-Date practices for stock rotation.
  • Handle collection, counting, storage, and disposal of empty cartons and sachets per procedures.
  • Conduct routine stock counts and support inventory verification.
