Job summary

Rashid Latif Khan Group is seeking an Inventory Control Officer to manage custody, stock receiving, and issuance of materials in Lahore. The role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and compliance with procurement and audit readiness.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in SCM or related field with 2 years of store management experience and proficiency in MS Office and stock systems. On-site work with organizational safety emphasis.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in store management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
• Experience in stock receiving, issuing, inventory reconciliation, record keeping, and maintaining proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Control & Custodianship: Manage custody, safekeeping, and issuance of all stored materials in accordance with institutional policies.
• Goods Receiving & Inspection: Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and ensure quality compliance before acceptance.
• Stock Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records in manual and/or digital systems.
• Issuance Control System: Ensure materials are issued strictly against authorized requisitions.
• Storage Optimization: Organize storage areas to ensure safety, accessibility, and preservation of materials.
• Expiry & Damage Monitoring: Monitor expiry dates and condition of stored goods to minimize wastage.
• Periodic Stock Verification: Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordination with Procurement: Work closely with procurement for replenishment planning and stock forecasting.
• Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure store operations meet audit and compliance requirements.
• Documentation Integrity: Maintain complete documentation of receipts, issues, and returns.
• Loss Prevention & Control: Implement measures to prevent pilferage, loss, or misuse of inventory.
• General Responsibility: Any other task assigned by the management.
