Job summary

hrsi seeks an Incharge Rigging professional to oversee rigging operations in a high-risk industrial environment. This role ensures safety compliance and project efficiency across Oil & Gas, construction, and industrial sectors.

The position requires Diploma/DAE in Mechanical or related field, and hands-on leadership of large rigging teams. Experience in shutdown/turnaround environments and knowledge of load charts are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/DAE in Mechanical or relevant technical field.
• Rigging Level-III Certification (preferred).
• 15+ years of hands-on rigging experience, especially in shutdown/turnaround environments.
• Proven leadership of large rigging teams in Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong command of load charts, lifting tackles, crane capacities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute all rigging and heavy lifting operations
• Prepare and review rigging plans, lifting procedures & checklists
• Ensure full compliance with HSE standards, lifting codes, and site regulations
• Collaborate with project, safety, and crane teams for safe execution
• Conduct pre-lift meetings, toolbox talks, and on-site training
• Maintain daily activity logs and rigging equipment status reports
• Lead and manage large rigging teams, including riggers and foremen
