Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence in Pakistan seeks a Lead Process Engineer to drive APC and MPC implementations, process optimization, and plant performance improvements across oil & gas, petrochemicals, utilities, mining, cement, metals, and manufacturing. You will lead FEED and detailed engineering for digital solutions and validate model-based control strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related.
• 6–8 years of relevant process engineering experience.
• 3+ years in process optimization, APC, MPC, or plant performance.
• Experience in mining, cement, metals, or similar continuous processes preferred.
• Experience with DCS, process historians, online analyzers, and plant instrumentation.
• Experience with APC/MPC platforms such as Aspen DMC3, Honeywell Profit, Yokogawa APC, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities for FEED, detailed engineering, and digital solution projects involving APC.
• Conduct site surveys, data collection, and performance assessments.
• Review PFDs, P&IDs, operating philosophies, DCS configurations, and historical data.
• Establish operating envelopes, constraints, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and validate APC/MPC control strategies and models.
• Review APC model performance and coordinate with APC engineers.
• Define interface requirements, alarms, and interlocks; support commissioning and handover.
• Provide technical documentation, KPI reporting, and customer training.
