Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence seeks a Lead Process Engineer to advance digital solutions across oil & gas, cement, metals, and manufacturing sectors. You will lead APC/MPC initiatives, perform plant data analysis, and shape control strategies to improve performance.

The role requires hands-on experience with APC, MPC, and process optimization, plus collaboration with DCS, historians, and instrument teams. Travel to global sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline.
• 6–8 years of relevant process engineering experience.
• 3+ years in process optimization, APC, MPC, or plant performance engineering preferred.
• Experience in mining, cement, metals, or other continuous process industries preferred.
• Oil & Gas/refinery process engineering with APC experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities for FEED, detailed engineering, and digital solution projects involving APC.
• Conduct site surveys, data collection, and performance assessments.
• Review PFDs, P&IDs, operating philosophies, data, and DCS configurations.
• Define CVs, MVs, DVs for APC applications and optimization objectives.
• Develop and validate APC/MPC control strategies and models.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and with clients.
