Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Lead Process Engineer in Pakistan to drive APC/MPC applications and plant performance improvements across industries. You will lead FEED and detailed-engineering efforts, review process data and PFDs, and develop robust control strategies in collaboration with APC engineers.

The role requires 6–8 years of process engineering experience, strong fundamentals, and hands-on APC/MPC expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
6–8 years of relevant process engineering experience.
3+ years of experience in APC, MPC, process control or plant performance engineering.
Experience in mining, cement, metals or other continuous processes preferred.
Experience with DCS, historians, analyzers and plant instrumentation is desirable.
Experience with APC/MPC platforms such as Aspen DMC3, Honeywell Profit, Yokogawa APC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead process engineering activities for FEED, detailed engineering, and digital APC projects.
Conduct site surveys, data collection, and performance assessments.
Review PFDs, P&IDs, operating philosophies, DCS configs, and historical data.
Define CVs, MVs, DVs for APC applications and translate objectives to MPC/APC strategies.
Develop validation plans, KPIs, and control narratives; support FAT/SAT and commissioning.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure APC model accuracy and implementation.
