Job summary

Khan Continental Hotel & Restaurant in Mansehra, Pakistan is seeking a responsible Kitchen Store Keeper to manage inventory and ensure smooth daily operations in our hotel kitchen.

You will receive deliveries, maintain stock records, issue items to chefs, monitor expiry dates, and coordinate with suppliers while upholding hygiene standards. Previous hotel/restaurant experience and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as Store Keeper or similar role.
• Experience in hotel, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel or inventory software).
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily deliveries and verify quantity and quality of stock items.
• Store food items and supplies properly according to hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or software.
• Issue kitchen items to chefs and staff on time.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages promptly.
• Check expiry dates and control wastage or damaged items.
• Coordinate with suppliers for deliveries and stock updates.
• Keep the kitchen store clean, organized, and properly arranged.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) stock system.
