Job summary

METRO Pakistan (Pvt) Limited is looking for a Sales Executive to activate new buying customers and drive revenue across Dry Food departments. You will analyze trends, plan customer visits, and ensure adherence to SOPs while expanding the customer portfolio.

With strong communication and negotiation skills, you will build profitable baskets, achieve targets, and represent METRO with outstanding customer service, market insights, and competitive awareness to shape strategy.

• Graduation required.

Responsibilities

• Increase the number of new buying customers through activation.
• Ensure the implementation of all SOPs.
• Achieve sales targets as per the given targets.
• Achieve the margin KPI by creating profitable customer baskets.
• Increase the customer portfolio size by adding new customers.
• Achieve the required average sales turnover per customer.
• Drive incremental sales by adding articles to customer baskets across the Dry Food departments, e.g., D&T and S&C, as these departments carry good margins.
• Represent a positive image to customers through an in-depth understanding of the business, METRO selling skills, and excellent customer service.
• Enhance market and competitor knowledge consistently so that METRO can adapt its strategy accordingly.
• Maintain customer files and conduct customer analysis before each visit.
• Pre-plan customer visits by analyzing sales and buying trends before the visit; conduct gap analysis against the set objectives and outcomes after the visit.
• Define objectives and action plans for each customer.
