Job summary

Allauddin & Sons in Karachi is seeking two energetic fresh Mechanical Engineering graduates to join the team at the Site Area. The selected candidates will begin by contributing to supply chain operations with a focus on inventory management and vendor query support.

You will gain practical exposure to industrial pumps while understanding the commercial aspects of the engineering business, with a path toward technical sales or engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of industrial pumps (centrifugal, diaphragm, slurry).
• Strong written and verbal communication to manage vendor interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining stock of pumps, spares and accessories in the warehouse.
• Handle vendor queries about part specifications and availability.
• Maintain records of incoming and outgoing machinery with QA standards.
• Coordinate between procurement and workshop to ensure availability of parts for repair and fabrication.
• Support sales with technical information to address client inquiries.

Allauddin & Sons, a well-established leader in industrial pumps and machinery since 1980, is seeking two energetic and motivated fresh Mechanical Engineering graduates to join their team at the Site Area in Karachi. The selected candidates will initially contribute to supply chain operations with a focus on inventory management and vendor query support. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain technical knowledge of industrial pumps while also understanding the commercial aspects of the engineering business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and organizing the extensive stock of pumps, spares, and accessories within the warehouse to ensure efficient inventory management.
• Handle technical queries from vendors and suppliers related to part specifications and availability, providing timely and accurate support.
• Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing machinery, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards.
• Coordinate between the procurement team and the workshop to guarantee the timely availability of parts required for repair and fabrication projects.
• Support the sales team by providing technical information to address client inquiries effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of various types of industrial pumps, including centrifugal, diaphragm, and slurry pumps.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to manage vendor interactions professionally.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, with a particular emphasis on Excel for inventory tracking purposes.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to work in a warehouse and workshop environment.
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify specific engineering components and spare parts.
