Job summary

Parwaaz Financial Services Limited seeks an IT Infrastructure Lead to own availability, security and compliance of PFSL’s IT infrastructure, spanning vendor-managed and in-house systems. You will monitor critical infrastructure, own network operations, and serve as PFSL’s technical control point across MSPs and internal teams.

The role requires 4–8 years in IT infrastructure and vendor oversight, with hands-on experience in network security, DR planning, and governance.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in IT infrastructure management, network security, and vendor oversight
• Experience managing outsourced/ MSPs; exposure to regulatory frameworks is a plus
• Working knowledge of database management, backup/DR concepts, and network security operations
• Strong governance and reporting capabilities

Responsibilities

• Monitor vendor-managed and PFSL-managed servers, cloud infra, databases, and backups
• Run periodic performance audits and health checks on systems, network, and cloud
• Provide technical evaluation and specifications for IT infrastructure vendors; support SLA definition
• Verify database performance reports and backup integrity/restorability
• Oversee DR drills and failover testing; validate DR plan results
• Maintain DR/BCP documentation and coordinate scheduling with responsible teams
• Maintain and review network logs (firewall, endpoint, network devices)
• Review software and cloud logs for exceptions and compliance evidence
• Own network security operations: firewall config, endpoint security, access controls
• Coordinate with Information Security Partner on cross-scope findings
• Maintain internal office network and perform patch management/upgrades
• Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs and governance documentation
• Report IT performance, risk, and compliance status to senior management

Major Responsibilities

Infrastructure Oversight

• Monitor and validate vendor-managed and PFSL-managed servers, cloud infrastructure, databases, and backups
• Run periodic performance audits and health checks on systems, network, and cloud
• Provide technical evaluation and specifications for IT infrastructure vendors; support Procurement in service-agreement negotiations and SLA definition

Database, Backup & DR

• Verify database performance reports and backup integrity/restorability as reported by the responsible team/partner
• Oversee DR drills and failover testing; validate results against the DR plan
• Maintain DR/BCP documentation and coordinate scheduling with the responsible team/partner

Logs & Audit

• Maintain and review network logs (firewall, endpoint, network devices)
• Review software and cloud logs maintained by the responsible team/partner for exceptions and technology compliance evidence
• Maintain audit trail and technology compliance evidence for network-layer activity

Network Security

• Own network security operations: firewall configuration, endpoint security, access controls
• Manage third-party penetration testing and remediation for the network layer (application/infrastructure security testing sits with the Information Security function)
• Coordinate with the Information Security Partner / Technical Information Security Manager on findings that cross into information security scope

Network

• Maintain the internal office network for secure, reliable connectivity
• Manage patch management and system/network upgrades

Governance & Reporting

• Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs, and governance documentation for the infrastructure/network domain
• Report IT performance, risk, and compliance status to senior management
• Maintain documented incident response procedures for incidents

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 4–8 years in IT infrastructure management, network security, and vendor oversight
• Working knowledge of database management, backup/DR concepts, and network security operations
• Experience managing outsourced/managed service providers; exposure to financial-sector regulatory frameworks is a plus
