Job summary

OVAL is seeking an experienced IoT Engineer in Karachi to develop and implement IoT connectivity solutions for smart devices. You will handle data acquisition, cloud integration, and remote monitoring while integrating multiple wireless protocols.

You’ll verify PCBA, perform hardware testing, and use AutoCAD for circuit layouts and enclosures. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting, and producing design specs are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience with IoT devices and Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills and debugging ability.
• Ability to work across teams to implement IoT solutions.
• Experience with PCB/PCBA testing and verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop IoT connectivity solutions including data acquisition and cloud integration.
• Integrate Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and Thread into IoT systems.
• Work with smart bulbs, cameras and other IoT appliances to improve connectivity.
• Verify PCBA and perform testing to ensure reliability.
• Design circuit layouts and enclosures using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm IoT ideas.
• Troubleshoot, debug and perform root-cause analysis of hardware/software issues.
• Generate technical reports, user manuals and design specifications.
