Job summary

Contour Software seeks an Intermediate/Senior Web Developer to turn business requirements into revenue-generating, scalable web applications. You will leverage OOP, modern web tech, and AI-enabled development practices while collaborating with Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad teams as part of the R&D division.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted coding, design-to-delivery workflows, and adherence to web standards. Strong English communication and independent work are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Able to create accurate time estimates and development plans for upcoming projects, reviews and validates estimates and development tasks from junior team member
• Excellent understanding of a broad range of development languages and frameworks including ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, ES6, Bootstrap, REST APIs, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, MS SQL Server, JavaScript, and web standards (WCAG 2, HTML5, CSS3, etc.)
• Strong understanding of source code management technologies (GIT)
• Strong understanding of OOP and SOLID principles
• Basic working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Jira is desirable
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to develop an understanding of a large and complex code base.
• Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Amazon Q Developer, ChatGPT, or similar tools for coding, debugging, documentation, test generation, and technical research
• Ability to critically review AI-generated code and technical recommendations for correctness, maintainability, performance, security, architecture fit, and alignment with business requirements
• Experience applying AI‑DLC or AI‑assisted SDLC practices across requirements analysis, design exploration, implementation, automated testing, code review, deployment readiness, and ongoing maintenance

POSITION:

We are seeking an Intermediate/SeniorWeb Developer to convertbusiness requirements into functional, standards-compliant websites and web applications that generate revenue, increase productivity, or minimize ongoing costs. This individualleveragesOOP patterns, modernweb technologies, and AI-enabled development practicesto coordinatethedevelopment of highly scalable web applications.The role is expected to work within an AI-Driven Development Lifecycle, where developers use AI tools responsibly across requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, documentation, code review, and production support whilemaintaininghuman oversight, engineering judgment, and accountability for final outcomes.The successful hire will work from the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabadoffice as part of the resource-center team that is an extension of the division-based R&D department.
