Job summary

NRSP Microfinance Bank Limited seeks an experienced Manager Insurance to lead the management of all client insurance claims across various products. You will oversee the entire lifecycle of claims, coordinate with insurers, process invoices, and maintain receivables records while providing insightful reports to senior management.

The role requires strong underwriting knowledge and policy administration, with a track record of leading a small team and delivering timely claim payouts.

Qualifications

• Degree in actuarial science or related fields.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in insurance claims management or similar domain.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all client insurance claims across multiple insurance products ensuring compliance with policies and timely resolution.
• Prepare assessment reports and perform comparative analyses to assist in the selection of suitable insurance companies.
• Coordinate effectively with insurance companies to monitor claims status and facilitate prompt payments.
• Process premium invoices accurately and ensure timely payments are made to insurance providers.
• Maintain comprehensive records of receivables from insurance companies and ensure proper documentation.
• Develop and present regular reports and in-depth analysis on insurance claims and related metrics to senior management, SBP, and board members.
• Collaborate with the finance department and other stakeholders to coordinate claim payments to clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Lead and manage a team of two personnel, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to enhance operational efficiency.
• Implement improvements in claims management processes to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the senior management to support organizational objectives.
