Job summary

Indus Hospital invites applications for a senior Infection Control leadership role. The incumbent will lead the Infection Control Department at the campus level, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations, and driving IPC strategies and policies across the network.

The role requires guiding the IPC team, monitoring surveillance, audits, and performance, while promoting staff and patient awareness and engagement in infection prevention practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as an IC practitioner.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in hospital-acquired infection surveillance (HAI).
• Master's degree in Microbiology or Epidemiology; Diploma in infection control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Infection Control Department at campus level.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, legislation, policies and best practices.
• Develop and implement IPC strategies and policies.
• Monitor infection surveillance and audits; drive quality improvements.
• Promote staff and patient awareness and engagement in infection control.
