Job summary

Disrupt is seeking a hands-on Legal Associate to join the in-house Legal team, focusing on technology and cybersecurity. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, advise business teams in real time, and manage regulatory and compliance queries across markets.

You will partner with Directors and Legal Counsel, interfacing with product, finance, and operations to ensure legal input drives business decisions without bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• LL.B or equivalent legal qualification; LL.M is an advantage.
• 4–6 years post-qualification experience in technology, SaaS or multinational environments.
• Strong commercial drafting skills with end-to-end contract handling.
• Working knowledge of data privacy law and international frameworks is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements including SaaS, licensing, reseller, distribution, OEM, NDAs, MSAs and vendor contracts.
• Managing end-to-end contract lifecycle for the cybersecurity vertical from drafting to renewal.
• Developing and maintaining standard templates and playbooks to improve turnaround time and consistency.
• Advising business teams on contractual risk, obligations, and rights in a clear, practical, and commercial way.
• Coordinating with external counsel on specialised matters as required and liaising with cross-functional teams.
