What is Head of Quality Assurance (QA Head) - MMBL?

• Lead the independent Software Quality Assurance (SQA) unit across Core Banking (T24), Payment Switch (IRIS), Digital Channels (Dost App), and custom API integrations.
• Architect and implement shift-left automated regression test suites integrated into CI/CD release pipelines to detect code defects early in active development sprints.

What Head of Quality Assurance (QA Head) - MMBL does?

• Conduct independent code sanitization, security vulnerability checks, and defect triage to contain "dirty laundry" inside IT prior to candidate builds entering business UAT.
• Define and enforce QA gating criteria aligned with organizational Definition of Done (DoD) standards.
• Manage SQA engineering resources, test coverage matrices, defect density tracking, and performance/stress testing suites.
• Partner with Pillar 3 (BA Hub) and Pillar 1 (Delivery) to validate user story acceptance criteria prior to production release approvals.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Head of Quality Assurance (QA Head) - MMBL?

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum 8 to 10+ years of dedicated software quality assurance and testing experience in enterprise banking environments (Core Banking, Switch, Mobile App).
• Essential Skills and Competencies:
• Advanced hands‑on expertise with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, JMeter, Appium, Postman, RestAssured).
• Deep functional domain knowledge of Core Banking (Temenos T24), Payment Switch ISO 8583 messaging, and RESTful API architectures.
• Proficiency in Agile SQA practices, automated regression pipeline creation, defect tracking (Jira, TestRail), and security vulnerability scanning.
• Strong analytical, bug‑isolation, and technical team leadership capabilities.
• Desirable Skills:
• ISTQB Advanced / Expert Level Certification; hands‑on experience with DevOps automated deployment pipelines.
