Job summary

National Bank of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Unit Head Project Finance (AVP/VP) in Karachi. The role will lead origination, structuring and execution of project finance deals within Corporate and Investment Banking.

The successful candidate will manage client relationships, coordinate with credit and legal teams, and drive business growth while ensuring adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
• Candidates having a Masters degree and / or professional qualifications would be preferred

Responsibilities

• Originate project finance deals and screen investment opportunities.
• Support and lead internal approvals with credit, legal and other teams.
• Foster relationships with financial partners, developers, investors and governments.
• Structure transactions to maximize co-financing potential.
• Ensure high professional standards of customer service for NBPs customers.
• Analyze investment proposals and advise on financial aspects.
• Follow up on financing projects with financial and technical advisors.
• Achieve KPIs in fee income and asset book building.
• Collaborate with Asset & Liability, Treasury, Markets and Transaction Banking teams.
• Prepare credit proposals adhering to policy and guidelines.
