Job summary

The ideal candidate will bring professional certifications (CIA/CFE/CI) where applicable, 7+ years of managerial experience in audit or finance, and a track record of elevating internal control environments.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/ICMA/HEC-recognized Master’s degree required.
• ICAP/ICMAP membership required.
• At least 7 years of managerial experience in audit or accounting.
• CIA/CFE/CI… certifications preferred.
• Age below 50 years.

Job description

One of our clients is looking for an experienced Head of Internal Audit to join their team and play a key role in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.

Key Requirements:

• CA, ACCA, ACMA/ICMA, or a relevant Master's degree in Finance/Accounting from an HEC-recognized university.
• Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) or the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP).
• Membership of a relevant professional body, where applicable.
• At least 7 years of managerial experience in audit, accounting, or managing the financial or corporate affairs of an organization.
• Candidates holding certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or Certified Internal Control Auditor will be preferred.
• Candidates must be below 50 years of age.
