Job summary

Cala Restaurant in Karachi is seeking a Finance Director to lead the finance department and oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, and will manage a small team to support strategic decision-making.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 5–6 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 5–6 years of relevant financial experience.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Excel and LedgerMax.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger and ensure accurate reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Coordinate payroll management and ensure accuracy of payroll transactions.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure compliance.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Guide a small finance team and mentor staff.
• Improve financial processes, systems, and controls for efficiency.
• Communicate financial information clearly to senior management.
