Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Commercial Development Representative to identify and qualify prospects, develop outreach strategies, and schedule meetings with Sales Representatives. You will analyze pipeline data and nurture relationships to advance prospects through the funnel while keeping CRM up to date.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and teamwork, with 1–3 years in telemarketing or customer service.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1–3 years in telemarketing or telephonic customer service.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are required.
Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.com is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Research and qualify potential prospects within assigned Market Intelligence accounts.
Develop outreach strategies to engage prospects and schedule meetings with Sales Representatives.
Analyze sales pipeline reports to track progress and identify opportunities.
Build relationships with prospects and advance them through the sales funnel.
Update CRM with accurate data and communications for new and prospective clients.
Collaborate with peers to share best practices and refine sales strategies.
Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.
