Role Description The GGT Pattern Master – Knitted Garments (Only) will be responsible for developing accurate garment patterns for knitted products using GGT software, ensuring size, fit, and construction details meet design and production requirements. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting tech packs and sample garments, creating and grading patterns, checking pattern accuracy against fabric characteristics, and coordinating with sampling, cutting, and production teams to resolve technical issues. The role involves optimizing marker layouts for fabric utilization, troubleshooting fit or construction problems, and maintaining updated pattern libraries and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Karāchi, requiring close collaboration with design, merchandising, and quality departments to support efficient, high-quality production.

Qualifications

• Strong GGT pattern-making skills specifically for knitted garments, including pattern development, grading, and fit correction.
• Technical expertise in garment construction, fabric behavior (knits, stretch, shrinkage), and measurement standards.
• Experience with marker making, fabric utilization planning, and coordination with cutting and production teams.
• Ability to interpret tech packs, design sketches, and buyer specifications, ensuring accurate translation into production‑ready patterns.
• Familiarity with quality control practices related to pattern accuracy, size consistency, and production feasibility.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with design, merchandising, sampling, and quality assurance teams.
• Ability to work on‑site in Karāchi, manage multiple styles and deadlines, and maintain organized digital and physical pattern records.
