Job summary

Sherwani Apparel is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to take ownership of the quality control across our knit garment production facility in Karachi. You will manage the QC team, implement inline, end-line, and final inspections, and ensure shipments meet buyer and export standards.

You will review specs and samples, drive root-cause analyses, and train staff while collaborating with production to prevent defects before shipment. Salary is competitive and based on experience.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in garment QA/QC.
• Strong knitwear experience is mandatory.
• Experience as QA/QC Manager or senior supervisory quality role.
• Export garment factory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of garment construction, stitching defects, measurements, finishing and workmanship.
• Experience with inline, end-line, and final inspections.
• Good understanding of AQL and buyer inspection standards.
• Ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Experience managing and developing QC teams.
• Ability to work with production while maintaining independent QC.
• Strong reporting, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Sherwani Apparel is looking for an experienced Quality Manager / QA Manager to take ownership of quality control across our knit garment production facility.

The selected candidate will manage and strengthen the factory’s quality system from pre-production through shipment, working closely with QC, production, line supervisors, merchandising, and finishing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the factory QC team and daily quality activities
• Establish and maintain inline, end-line, and final inspection procedures
• Review approved samples, specifications, measurements, and buyer requirements before production
• Monitor first production pieces and approve bulk production from a quality perspective
• Plan and conduct regular inline audits during stitching and production
• Identify recurring defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Work closely with line supervisors and production teams to resolve quality issues at source
• Conduct/oversee final shipment inspections and ensure export standards are met
• Maintain QC records, defect reports, inspection reports, and corrective action reports
• Analyze quality data and identify major recurring issues by line, style, operation, or department
• Train and guide QC staff and production personnel on quality requirements
• Ensure no shipment is released with unresolved quality issues
• Report quality performance and major issues directly to management

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

This position is for someone who can build and manage a quality system.

The candidate should be capable of taking ownership of factory quality, identifying problems before they reach shipment, and establishing accountability across production.

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and capability.

Location: New Karachi Industrial Area

Working Hours: Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM. Extended hours may be required during shipment periods.
