Job summary

The World Food Programme is seeking four Programme Assistants to support BNP activities across Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sargodha and Bahawalpur. You will coordinate with government and partners, oversee field operations, and help ensure data quality and reporting for maternal and child nutrition initiatives.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in nutrition programmes, strong coordination skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in nutrition, public health or related programmes.
• 2–3 years supporting nutrition interventions, stunting prevention, CMAM or related health programmes.
• Experience working with government, development partners, NGOs, and community-based service delivery.
• Strong coordination, monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate liaison with BISP, District Health Authorities, LHWP, CHIs, Cooperating Partners and district administrations.
• Participate in divisional and district coordination meetings; follow up on actions.
• Provide operational guidance and oversight to BNP Centres and districts.
• Oversight visits to BNP Centres and programme sites to assess service quality and compliance.
• Support beneficiary engagement and accountability mechanisms.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and data quality checks.
• Maintain programme records and documentation.
