Job summary

Liaquat National Hospital is seeking a seasoned Head of Facilities Management to plan, supervise, and optimize day-to-day operations across the department. You will oversee electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, water systems, and other engineering services to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, monitor performance, manage budgets, and lead renovations, expansions, and major projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10–12 years of progressive experience in facilities management with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in managing engineering systems, infrastructure projects, utilities, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communications, interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Facilities Management Department.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, water supply and other engineering services.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of all hospital buildings and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Monitor facility performance and ensure timely corrective maintenance.
• Ensure uninterrupted utility services through appropriate contingency planning.
• Lead renovation, expansion, and refurbishment projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, and vendors for construction and maintenance works.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage annual maintenance contracts and service agreements.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
