Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an Exchange & Cloud Architect to manage a hybrid Exchange environment (on-premises Exchange 2019 with Exchange Online) and lead migration projects to Microsoft 365. The role covers identity services, Windows/Linux servers, and cloud initiatives across Azure, AWS, and OCI.

You will implement security controls, design backup/DR, and ensure smooth operations with documentation and stakeholder communication. On-site in Islamabad.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Microsoft messaging, infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Exchange Server 2019 administration and Exchange Hybrid deployments.
• Proven experience leading Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 / Office 365 migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Exchange Server 2019 and Exchange Online in a hybrid configuration.
• Lead planning and execution of Exchange 2019 to Microsoft 365 migration projects, including mailbox migration and cutover.
• Manage identity and directory services including Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Administer Windows Server and Linux server environments, including Hyper-V virtualization.
• Implement and maintain email security, WAF, SSL/TLS, and related security controls.
• Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for messaging and infrastructure systems.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues across messaging and cloud environments.
• Maintain technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders on project status and infrastructure changes.
• Support broader cloud initiatives across Azure, with working knowledge of AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Job Title: Exchange & Cloud Architect

We are looking for an experienced Exchange & Cloud Architect to manage, secure, and optimize a hybrid messaging environment comprising Exchange Server 2019 on-premises and Microsoft 365 Exchange Online. The role will lead Exchange 2019 to Office 365 migration initiatives and support broader cloud, server, virtualization, security, and backup operations.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant Microsoft, cloud, infrastructure, and security certifications will be considered an added advantage
