Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager in Pakistan to lead delivery across cross-functional teams and drive high-quality software that aligns with product goals.

You will translate business requirements into EPICs and technical stories, own sprint planning, and mentor engineers to improve velocity while upholding robust engineering standards. Experience with Java/Spring Boot and Agile practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8-10 years as a Software Developer/Engineer or similar.
• 5+ years in engineering leadership with production systems.
• Proficiency in Agile practices: sprint planning, backlog grooming, iterative delivery.
• Strong backend focus with Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across cross-functional teams.
• Translate requirements into EPICs and technical user stories.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineers to refine the backlog.
• Plan and drive sprint execution with defined goals and milestones.
• Maintain high engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and lead incident response.
