Sui Southern Gas Company Limited is seeking a Mechanical engineer with at least 2 years of experience to support day-to-day distribution operations. You will assist the Zonal Manager in monitoring network performance, resolving critical issues, and coordinating field activities across the distribution network.

The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient operation and timely reporting. Responsibilities include DSM activities, network optimization, field staff coordination, and producing MIS

Qualifications

• Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in distribution operations.
• Strong coordination and technical reporting skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist Zonal Manager in monitoring day-to-day Distribution operations.
• Monitor and coordinate resolution of low-pressure, leakage, and other critical issues.
• Coordinate maintenance and distribution network improvement activities.
• Assist in DSM activities, including pressure management and system optimization.
• Deploy teams, monitor field progress, and coordinate with departments.
• Provide technical recommendations and review operational issues.
• Monitor consumer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare periodic MIS, reports, and status updates for Zonal Manager.
• Conduct field inspections and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Perform other Distribution/DSM-related assignments.

Engineering graduate preferably in Mechanical with at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Zonal Manager in monitoring day-to-day Distribution operations and network performance.
• Monitoring and coordinating resolution of low-pressure, leakage, interruption and other critical network-related issues.
• Coordinating maintenance, rehabilitation, reinforcement and other Distribution network improvement activities.
• Assisting in DSM activities, including pressure management, system optimization and efficient utilization of the Distribution network.
• Deployment of teams & Monitoring progress of field activities and coordinating field staff and other concerned departments.
• Reviewing operational issues and providing technical recommendations to the Zonal Manager.
• Monitoring important consumer complaints and ensuring timely resolution through coordination with relevant sections.
• Preparing periodic reports, MIS and status updates for review of the Zonal Manager.
• Conducting field inspections and monitoring compliance with approved technical and safety procedures.
• Performing any other Distribution/DSM-related assignment entrusted by the Zonal Manager.
