Greenstar Social Marketing Pakistan (G) Ltd. invites applications for a district-based health program officer responsible for day-to-day project implementation, activity planning, and stakeholder coordination in Sindh.

The role involves extensive field work with up to 90% travel within the assigned district, and requires a Master’s degree in Public Health or related field along with 3–5 years’ experience with development organizations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Public Health/Social Sciences, Management, or a relevant discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with national/international development organizations, preferably in the health sector.
• District-based role; residents of the respective district prioritized and required to reside there during contract.
• Travels extensively, approximately 90% within the assigned district.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective day-to-day project implementation in the assigned district.
• Develop and monitor district activity plans and resolve bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with healthcare service providers and monitor performance.
• Identify, verify, and document service providers and clinic sites.
• Monitor clinic establishment against BoQs, maps, and quality standards.
• Lead Sitara Bajis community mobilization and outreach.
• Conduct field monitoring and supervision of Sitara Bajis.
• Plan trainings, meetings, logistics, and project events.
• Coordinate with district government stakeholders and represent the project.
• Held regular coordination meetings and track action points.
• Maintain project data, trackers, and documentation at districts/provider levels.
• Prepare timely progress updates, analyses, and reports.
• Ensure submission of Sitara Baji work plans, timesheets, reports.
• Ensure medicines, commodities and supplies availability; address gaps.
• Share implementation challenges and lessons with Provincial Lead.
• Ensure proper record keeping of district admin documents and expenses.
• Perform other project-related responsibilities as assigned.
