CureMD Corporation seeks a seasoned Director of Engineering to own the strategy, execution, and health of CureMD's engineering org across software development, databases, DevOps, and security. This hands-on leader will mentor managers, engineers, and architects while aligning tech with business goals.

The role requires deep technical credibility with ASP.NET/.NET, cloud, and security, plus strong people and program management. Healthcare IT experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required; Master’s a plus.
• 15+ years of progressive software engineering experience with at least 6–8 years in senior leadership managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Hands-on with the ASP.NET/.NET stack and modern software design patterns.
• Experience across Database engineering, DevOps/Infrastructure, and Application Security.
• Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and containerization; CI/CD pipeline design.
• HIPAA knowledge; Healthcare IT / EHR experience strongly preferred.
• Project and program management across multiple initiatives, budgets, and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of building and retaining high-performing teams; hiring and performance management.
• Excellent executive communication; translate tech strategy to business terms.
• VoIP/telephony or UC platforms experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own technology strategy, roadmap, and delivery for Development, Database, DevOps, Security, and VoIP.
• Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary engineering organization of managers, architects, and engineers.
• Provide architectural direction across ASP.NET/.NET stack for scalable, secure apps.
• Oversee end-to-end software delivery with Product and QA for predictable releases.
• Oversee SQL Server database architecture, performance, and DR strategies.
• Advance DevOps maturity: CI/CD, automation, containerization, release engineering.
• Provide technical oversight of VoIP/telephony aligning with enterprise roadmap.
• Define and track engineering KPIs and report progress to CIO/senior leadership.
• Drive project/program management across engineering initiatives; manage scope and timelines.
• Lead root-cause analysis, incident response, and post-mortems for major issues.
• Evaluate and lead adoption of new technologies, tools, and practices (including AI).
• Partner with HR on hiring, performance management, and succession planning.
