Job summary

The Citizens Foundation is seeking a Digital Literacy Specialist to develop engaging curriculum resources, assessments, and digital learning materials that strengthen programming literacy for school learners. The role focuses on Scratch, HTML, Java, and Python, aligning with the organization’s standards and goals.

You will design instructional content, map curriculum needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and ongoing improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality instructional materials, including textbooks, teacher guides, and supplementary resources in English and Urdu.
• Design formative and summative assessments aligned with curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
• Create engaging e-learning content and teacher support resources to strengthen content knowledge and classroom practices.
• Research emerging trends, pedagogical approaches, and best practices in digital literacy to inform curriculum improvements.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure instructional materials are visually engaging and aligned with learning objectives.
• Work collaboratively with curriculum, assessment, teacher development, and digital learning teams on curriculum initiatives.
• Support curriculum mapping, resource development, pilot implementation, and continuous improvement projects.
