Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) is seeking a Deputy Manager for Conventional Media & Media Complaints. The role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with beat reporters across print and electronic media, guiding PR through direct engagement to safeguard SSGC’s narrative, and ensuring timely coverage of the company’s achievements.

You will coordinate with reporters during protests, manage media presence at the office, oversee media coverage, and process media invoices.

Qualifications

• MBA or MS in Media, Mass Communication, or Journalism with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and strengthen SSGC relationships with beat reporters in print and electronic media for PR.
• Coordinate with reporters during protests and manage media at office premises.
• Oversee conventional media coverage to ensure positive narrative on SSGC achievements.
• Review and aggregate SSGC news in traditional media and prepare daily clippings with links for review.
• Manage media invoices, RO tracking and timely payments with planning team per SLA.
