Job summary

The Sui Southern Gas Company Limited is seeking an experienced billing professional to oversee end-to-end billing for industrial, domestic, and commercial connections. The role requires an MBA with 2 years of relevant experience and a solid grasp of billing systems.

You will develop monthly meter reading plans, verify readings, and ensure timely CC&B data entry and bill issuance. Customer inquiries and disputes will be handled efficiently.

Qualifications

• MBA with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in billing processes for utility services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of billing systems and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end billing process for industrial, domestic and commercial connections within the designated zone.
• Develop a monthly meter reading plan to align with the billing cycle.
• Review meter readings and billing records to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate with meter reading teams and data entry staff for timely data capture.
• Ensure meter readings are entered into CC&B for bill generation.
• Ensure bills are printed and delivered to customers as per cycle.
• Prepare monthly billing reports for reporting purposes.
• Address customer inquiries related to billing statements and readings.
• Collaborate with customer service for dispute resolution and account management.
• Provide support on billing inquiries, payment options, and complaints.
• Contribute to risk management activities and ensure risks are identified and managed.

The purpose of this position is to oversee the function of bill generation of domestic, commercial and industrial customers with in the franchise area of assigned zone.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end billing process for industrial, domestic, and commercial connections within the jurisdiction of designated zone.
• Develop a meter reading plan on monthly basis to strictly follow the monthly billing cycle of the assigned zone.
• Review meter readings, consumption patterns, and billing records to identify discrepancies and resolve billing errors promptly.
• Coordinate with meter reading teams and data entry staff to ensure timely and accurate capture of consumption data for billing purposes.
• Ensure that meter reading activity is accomplished timely as per approved plan.
• Ensure that meter readings are entered into CC&B for bill generation in a timely manner.
• Ensure that bills are printed and delivered to the respective customers as per the billing cycle.
• Prepare billing reports on monthly basis for reporting purposes.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns related to billing statements and meter readings in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the customer service team for efficient processing for billing dispute resolution and customer account management.
• Provide support and guidance to customers regarding billing inquiries, payment options, and billing-related complaints.
• Comply with the risk management framework.
• Participate actively in risk management activities across the organization.
• Ensure that key risks are identified, reported, recorded and managed in a timely manner.
• Receive appropriate training in risk management.
• Undertake any other assignment as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
