Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited is seeking an Area Manager in Billing to lead the Industrial/Commercial Billing team across Karachi's East, West and Central areas. You will develop billing plans, monitor KPIs, recruit and mentor staff, and ensure compliant and efficient billing operations.

The role requires an MBA with 4 years in accounts/finance, preferably with utility industry experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage budgeting within the billing framework.

Qualifications

• MBA with 4 years of experience in accounts or finance.
• Experience in utility companies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Billing team in the Industrial/Commercial (KHI) section, East, West and Central areas, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Develop and implement billing plans to meet revenue targets and enhance efficiency in industrial/commercial sectors in Karachi.
• Monitor and analyze key billing KPIs and take corrective actions to ensure revenue and operational targets are met.
• Recruit, train and mentor junior team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful billing operations.
• Manage budgeting within the Industrial/Commercial (KHI) section and ensure cost-effective billing operations.
• Ensure adherence to company billing policies, industry regulations and legal requirements; comply with Enterprise Risk Management and the Code of Conduct.

• Recruit, train, and mentor team members at junior level, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce aligned with organizational goals.
• The team members include Territory Managers and other field staff for East, West and Central areas.
• Provide leadership to the Billing team in the Industrial/Commercial (KHI) section, in East, West and Central areas fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Develop and implement billing plans to meet revenue targets, enhance efficiency, and adapt to the unique requirements of the industrial and commercial sectors in Karachi.
• Monitor and analyze key billing performance indicators, proactively implementing corrective actions to ensure consistent achievement of revenue and operational targets.
• Recruit, train, and mentor team members at junior level, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce aligned with organizational goals.

• Ensure strict adherence to company billing policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements within the Industrial/Commercial (KHI) section, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework enforced in the Company while performing job responsibilities in accordance with his assigned role.
• The individual shall ensure compliance to the Business Principles and Ethics Policy / Code of Conduct.
• Undertake any other assignment as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
