Job summary

Master Group in Lahore seeks an experienced Supply Chain professional to lead import clearance and materials procurement. You will coordinate forecasts, production plans and stock reports to ensure timely imports and availability of materials for production at factory stores.

The role emphasizes cost efficiency, adherence to quality standards in imports and freight, and vendor management, including sourcing quotations and ensuring timely payments.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of relevant experience in a large scale organization.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / Kaizen principles for process optimization.
• Strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
• Analytical and data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Get sales forecasts, production plans and stock reports from relevant departments and ensure accurate raw material procurement planning considering time required for imports.
• Ensure timely imports and availability of imported material as per plan for production at factory stores.
• Ensure cost efficiency and maintenance of quality standards in overall imports and freight.
• Manage deliveries of materials to factories as per plan and requirement.
• Monitor material consumption in production and issuance from stores to ensure transparencies.
• Keep track of extra consumption and update material plans accordingly.
• Maintain vendor wise detailed record of goods received and their quality feedbacks for future vendor selection.
• Ensure full implementation of vendor code and policy in imports process.
• Obtain quotations for procurement of supplies as and when required by the established company procedure and present comparative analysis to management for approval.
• Follow up with accounts department to ensure on time payments to vendors.
