Job summary

Habib Bank Limited (HBL) seeks an experienced Delivery Manager to craft a comprehensive plan and WBS for the assigned delivery bucket in our core banking transformation. You will coordinate with leads and stakeholders to ensure alignment with objectives and milestones, and establish clear communication channels across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• PMP or Project/Delivery Management certification desirable.
• 7+ years of experience in Banking, Project Management, Technology Management in a leading bank or financial institution.

Job description

• Develop a comprehensive plan / WBS for assigned delivery bucket, outlining tasks, timelines, and milestones. This must be done in coordination with respective leads.
• Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Establish communication channels and protocols to facilitate collaboration.

Technical Oversight

• Understand technical aspects of the core banking transformation domain and assist / facilitate stakeholders in achieving respective milestones.
• Collaborate with Technical teams (Engineering, EA, Infrastructure & Operations, TCoE, DCoE) and align to understand the requirements & work closely for successful delivery of milestones.

Delivery Status Assessment

• Implement and oversee processes to assess delivery milestone.
• Ensure that deliverables meet, in line with the stakeholders’ expectations and program delivery standards.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.

Customer Onboarding Transformation

• Analyze and redesign end-to-end customer onboarding journeys across:
  • Retail Banking
  • SME Banking
  • Corporate Banking
  • Digital Banking Channels
• Support the implementation of customer onboarding capabilities within the new core banking platform.
• Define future-state onboarding, account opening, and customer maintenance processes.
• Identify opportunities for digitization, automation, and straight-through processing (STP).
• Support the implementation of a single customer view and Customer Information File (CIF) architecture.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to respective delivery bucket.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Regularly assess and update risk assessments throughout the project.

Stakeholder Management

• Understand organization hierarchy and team structure to
• Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Manage expectations and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Address concerns and issues raised by stakeholders in a timely manner.

Change Management

• Track all incoming changes to respective delivery bucket. This may include change in milestone timelines, change in delivery scope etc. Refer to change management process for further details.
• Challenge & Assess The Change – Question the change, as to why it is raised and if it is necessary assess the impact and provide visibility to Core Management team.
• Coordinate with Temenos / Designated implementation partner at all levels.
• Monitor vendor performance and adherence to contractual agreements.
• Resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely manner.
• Facilitate communication, as needed, with other vendors, via IT VM.

Qualifications

• Bachelors, Computer science or a qualitative subject.
• PMP or a Project / Delivery Management Certification desirable.
• An overall 7+ years of increasing experience in Banking, Project Management, Technology Management in a leading bank or financial institution.
