Job summary

Software Finder is seeking an experienced Data Operations Lead to drive continuous improvement across our data operations function, with a strong focus on B2B lead generation best practices. This role will own the optimization of ICP segmentation, targeting strategies, and overall data quality, while mentoring and scaling the data extraction team.

You will review processes, refine ICP frameworks, analyze segment performance, track KPIs, and ensure alignment with email/SMS outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data operations, B2B lead generation, or demand generation roles.
• Strong understanding of ICP development and segmentation strategy.
• Hands-on experience with data sourcing tools such as Seamless.AI and similar platforms.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing targeting performance metrics (open rates, reply rates, conversions).
• Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with email/SMS marketing platforms or CRM systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review current data quality and segmentation processes; identify optimization opportunities and implement improvements aligned with industry best practices.
• Refine and continuously evolve ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) frameworks and apply segmentation logic strategically across datasets.
• Ensure targeting aligns with email/SMS messaging and overall outreach strategy.
• Systematically analyze and improve segment performance, identifying high-potential optimization areas.
• Track email open rates, reply rates, and conversion metrics.
• Mentor and manage 2 data extraction executives, establishing best-practice quality standards.
• Drive team performance, precision, and consistency across Seamless and other data sources.
• Establish and track KPIs around email deliverability, data freshness, segment performance, and team productivity.
• Stay current on B2B lead gen targeting best practices and recommend process updates.
• Lead initiatives to improve targeting ROI.
